In 2011, the United Nations Human Rights Council unanimously endorsed the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGP). These principles apply to all corporations, and the suppliers throughout their whole supply chain. WWS has developed a ten-step approach to implementing the Guiding Principles.

 

This workshop will give participants an orientation of the Guiding Principles and the essential tools to put them into practice, including:

• How to get buy-in from your company?

• How to assess and prioritize human rights issues?

• How to review to ensure implementation is successful?

 

A pre-training assessment will ensure the workshop meets your needs. A one hour follow-up session is also included, to review how implementation is tracking and to provide advice to address any outstanding concerns.

 

The workshop is held with a minimum of 8 and maximum of 15 people.
